BCCI: Entering the world of ESG?
BCCI: Entering the world of ESG?
We are proud that Ákos Veisz, Managing Director of BDO Hungary's ESG Advisory participated as a speaker in the panel discussion at the professional event of the Budapest Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in a valuable exchange of knowledge on current issues of sustainability.
Entering the world of ESG?
What does this mean for SMEs and large companies in the EU and Hungary?
How can SMEs prepare for ESG compliance?
How can the Bridge to Benefits Masterclass help?
How can integrating a sustainability approach into a business model become a competitive advantage?
These were the topics of the workshop "Connecting the Danube" - Building sustainable economic links from the Highlands to the Central Danube, organised with the Central Danube Development Agency Nonprofit Ltd. on the afternoon of 6 November.
The panel discussion outlined the current situation of ESG regulation (Slovakia vs. Hungary), provided success stories of working sustainability solutions on the SME side, and presented the "Bridge to Benefits" Masterclass on value-based cross-sectoral cooperation as a proven recipe for developing a sustainability approach in small businesses since 2021.
The students also learned how integrating a sustainability approach into the business model can lead to a competitive advantage in the short term, both within and beyond the Danube.
We thank our mentors who contributed to the discussion for their valuable knowledge exchange.
