Executive summary
Ever since I was a child, I have always tried to live in a way that caused the least harm to my immediate environment, and it helped a lot that I lived in a village where people were very giving and teachers always tried to guide the kids in this direction. Sustainability was an unknown concept to me at that time, everything I did was natural, obvious and logical.
After moving to the city, my attitude did not change, but I had to face the fact that most people do not even care about their micro-environment. Therefore, I raised my voice several times in my neighbourhood, but with the exception of one or two residents, I did not find many open ears. So I was more concerned with continuing to do as little harm as possible according to my principles.
I studied climatology at university, and although I have not yet continued my studies in that direction, and it has been more than 20 years, I always look at the scientific (sometimes tabloid) news related to it when it comes my way, but it never hurts to think critically and pass the information through the right filter.
